Name: Momo
Age: 23
Gender: female
Pronouns: she/her
Race: mixed; black/japanese

Personality:

Momo is very quiet and rather reserved, she doesn't get emotional easily (or rather, is very good at covering up her emotions). She's amiable with others, but has severe trust issues and thus rarely opens up. She has a creative mind and likes to spend her free time writing poetry. With people she trusts, she has a caretaker heart and loves to cook and clean with others to help them out. She has a very soft heart, and while she may not show it she's incredibly sensitive and cares deeply about what others think of her. She struggles heavily with depression, which alongside her disability makes her very lethargic and she struggles to get things done most days. When pushed in any situation she tends to snap and get very harsh, even when she doesn't mean it.

Biography:

Momo was born with an undiagnosed chronic illness, and from a young age struggled with severe pain in her joints and muscles. She was often unable to live a normal childhood because of her condition, and her parents and 3 siblings often showed clear displeasure at having to accommodate and care for her.

Momo always felt like an outcast in her own family. She was the sick one, the burden, and the one with no friends. As such, in her teenage years she made the decision she wanted to move out, and began to push herself extremely hard to work a job and save up money. She was miserable for most of her later teenage years because of it, but when she was 19 she had enough money to get an apartment and immediately left home.

By this time her body had broken down to a point she couldn't feasibly work anymore, and generally couldn't walk without support. She was able to apply for disability, but unfortunately became very depressed and lonely. It was at this time that the kurina spirit Kaya came into her life and began to help her out.

Slowly, Momo is trying to live a fuller life with Kaya's help. They help her get necessities like food and hygiene done, and are encouraging her to try and make friends and go to therapy. Slowly but surely, she's learning ways to live her life in a way that she can still be happy.
